Since we're all familiar with our rating system, like it or not, it seemed a sensible place to start by assigning a rating to each skill based on my own self assessment. I'd love to see comments about areas I've left out, or how people think these areas ought to be weighted, as well as others' attempts to write the book on themselves.

The plus numbers represent areas where I feel I could improve in that category by that amount with a reasonable effort. I'll leave it to the reader to interpret each category.
A few comments: I consider my personal range to be fairly narrow, and that's largely because I've been playing for over 15 years now, so there is a breadth to my abilities with few extraordinary spikes or dips. I fully believe that there are many 1100 players out there with 1700+ strategic ability who simply eschew word study as a waste of valuable time, as there are 1100 players who study and study but are simply not natural strategists. Among strong players too, there are some who may be surprisingly weak in one or more areas, which is why I always advise anyone against assuming that an opponent knows all the words (of any particular type) just because they are rated such and such.
Some may note that my numbers don't seem to square with my current 1700ish rating, but I continue to aver that I am overrated at the moment, the beneficiary of having been able to play in strong fields with a volatile playing style which reduces the probability of the stronger player winning compared to what is typical. That is my style affords me a stronger chance of beating a 1900 player, but also a greater chance of losing to a 1400 player. I fully expect that sometime in the next 10 years I will experience the ratings plummet that some have succumbed to recently when a couple of bad tournaments puts one in lower divisions where up and coming players feast and the rating continues to slide.
End Game Theory is the ability to evaluate plays, where as End Game Thoroughness relates more to the patience to find everything and effectively apply the theory as you understand it to the choice of plays.
Constancy relates largely to avoiding mistakes and being consistent, whereas Equanimity is the ability to not get rattled.
